§ 93.060 SIDEWALKS KEPT CLEAR OF SNOW AND ICE.
   All persons owning or occupying any house or other building, lot or vacant house or lot in the village shall, during the winter season and during the time the snow shall continue on the ground:
   (A)   Keep the sidewalks in front of, adjoining or in any way contiguous to any such house, building or lot free from obstruction by snow and ice; and
   (B)   Within 24 hours after the snow and ice have fallen to the ground, remove the same and shall also at all times keep the sidewalks in good and safe repair and clean and keep free from dirt, filth and weeds or other obstructions and encumbrances.
   (C)   Any such owner or occupant shall be liable for any injury or damage by reason of omission or failure to repair, keep safe and maintain such sidewalk or to remove snow or ice or other obstructions therefrom or negligence in performing these functions.
   (D)   If the village assists such owner or occupant in removal of snow and ice, such assistance shall not replace or mitigate the owner or occupant's liability for the same.
