§ 71.17 NOTICE OF REMOVAL.
   The Police Department and/or Superintendent of Public Works shall without delay report the removal and the disposition of any vehicle removed as provided in this subchapter to the Chief of Police, and it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to ascertain to the extent possible the owner of the vehicle or person having charge of the same and to notify him or her of the removal and disposition of the vehicle.
