After the final surface asphalt course is installed and all other improvements represented on the final plat and construction plans are complete, the Engineer of Record shall submit a stamped Certification of Completion to the City Public Works Director. After a final inspection is completed by the city and verification that all improvements are in agreement with the final plat and construction plans, notification will be given to the developer of the beginning of a one year minimum warranty period. A warranty bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the surety amount, as determined and required by the city, will remain in place during the warranty period to cover any warranty or maintenance issues that may arise.
