   AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FRANKLIN, KENTUCKY
   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed the 2018 S-1 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Franklin, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of this municipality; and
   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statutes; and
   WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Franklin to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;
   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Franklin, Kentucky as follows:
   1.   The 2018 S-1 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Franklin, Kentucky, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation be hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.
   2.   This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
   If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct, and independent provision, and such holdings shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance.
   All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.

   At a meeting of the City Commission of the City of Franklin, Kentucky, held on June 11, 2018, on a motion made by Commissioner Stewart and seconded by Commissioner Powell the foregoing ordinance was adopted, after full discussion by the following vote:
