A customer, at his or her request, any have inspected any change of existing wiring for which inspection is not required. The fee for this inspection shall be $50 per trip, and shall be paid by the customer. If the Inspector finds that this change of wiring does not meet the requirements of the National Electrical Code and/or this chapter, the electrical contractor/electrician shall be required by the Electrical Inspector to rework the wiring until it complies with all of the requirements of the National Electrical Code and this chapter, and the cost of reinspection shall be borne by the electrical contractor/electrician.
