For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ADULTERATED. Varying from the standard of composition or quality prescribed by statute or lawfully promulgated administrative regulation or, if none, as set by established commercial usage.
BENEFIT. Gain or advantage to the beneficiary or to a third person pursuant to the desire or consent of the beneficiary.
BUSINESS RECORD. Any writing or article kept or maintained by an enterprise for the purpose of evidencing or reflecting its condition or activity.
ENTERPRISE. Any entity of one or more persons, corporate or otherwise, public or private, engaged in business, commercial, professional, industrial, eleemosynary, social, political or governmental activity.
EVENT. A sports contest to which the general public is not admitted without consideration.
FIDUCIARY. A trustee, guardian, executor, administrator, receiver and any person carrying on fiduciary functions on behalf of a corporation or other organization which is fiduciary.
MISLABELED.
(1) Varying from the standard of truth or disclosure in labeling prescribed by statute or lawfully promulgated administrative regulation or, if none, as set by established commercial usage; or
(2) Represented as being another person’s product, though otherwise labeled accurately as to quality or quantity.

SPORTS CONTEST. Any professional or amateur sport, athletic game or contest, or race or contest involving machines, persons or animals that is viewed by the public.
SPORTS OFFICIAL. Any person who acts or expects to act in a sports contest as an umpire, referee or judge, or otherwise to officiate at a sports contest.
SPORTS PARTICIPANT. Any person who participates or expects to participate in a sports contest as a player, contestant or member of a team, or as a coach, manager, trainer or other person directly associated with a player, contestant or team.
