(A) A person is guilty of impersonating a public servant if he or she pretends to be a public servant with intent to induce another to submit to such pretended official authority or otherwise to act in reliance upon that pretense to his or her prejudice.
(B) Impersonating a public servant is a Class A misdemeanor.
