(A) The municipal water system is hereby authorized to use the property, streets, alleys, rights- of-way and easements belonging to the city for the purpose of laying water and sewer lines and for all other purposes in furtherance of conducting the business of the municipal water system.
(B) This granting of use of the city’s property carries with it the restriction that the municipal water system must adhere to all existing ordinances as they relate to the crossing of rights-of-way.
