(A) No residence, building or structure shall hereinafter be located, extended, constructed or structurally altered in a manner which requires a new, altered or replacement private connection to the public water system, unless the requirements of this chapter and other applicable laws or regulations have been satisfied.
(B) The owner(s) of any and all existing facilities or structures, whether industrial, commercial or otherwise, which contain private connections to the public water system and which are subject to the requirements of this chapter shall be mailed a copy of this chapter and a notice of compliance. Owner(s) shall have 180 days from the date of the receipt of the notice of compliance to have any and all private connections to the public water system owned or controlled by owner(s) in full compliance with the terms of this chapter and other applicable laws or regulations. Additional time for compliance may be granted to owners(s) upon written request by owner(s) to Director; however, failure by owner(s) to comply with all of the terms and conditions of this chapter and other applicable laws and regulations by the date prescribed in the notice of compliance or any additional time for compliance granted by and through this section shall subject owners(s) to any and all enforcement and/or penalty provisions of this chapter.
