(A) The City Commission, on behalf of the city, pursuant to all applicable provision of KRS 220.135, as amended by the General Assembly, on or about April 1, 1994, by this section expresses its intention not to become a part of any sanitation district and to retain ownership, control of and responsibility for its sanitary sewer system and for its storm drainage system.
(B) The city by the adoption of this section acknowledges that it shall be solely responsible for compliance with applicable regulations promulgated by the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet.
