3-4-8: HOURS OF SALE RESTRICTED:
It is the intention of the Village Board that this section control the times that alcoholic liquor may be sold or dispensed. As such, no alcoholic liquor shall be sold, delivered, transferred, distributed or given away upon or about any licensed premises by anyone at any time except for those times permitted in this section.
   A.   General Restrictions And Time Of Sale: No alcoholic liquor shall be sold, delivered, transferred, distributed or given away upon or about any licensed premises by anyone except during the following periods of time on the following days:
      1.   For Classes A and B, on the weekdays of Monday through Thursday from ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. to twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight. On Friday of each week between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. Friday until one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on the following Saturday. And on Saturday of each week from twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight to one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and again on Saturday from ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. to one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on the following Sunday.       2.   For Class C licenses, on the weekdays of Monday through Saturday from six o'clock (6:00) A.M. to eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. (Ord. 740A-14, 4-14-2014)
      3.   For Classes A and B, on New Year's Day from twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight until one o'clock (1:00) A.M. in addition to other hours allowed unless New Year's Day is on Monday, in which case the normal operating hours shall not be extended because of the New Year holiday.    B.   Sunday Sales: No alcoholic liquor shall be sold, delivered, transferred, distributed or given away upon or about any licensed premises after one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on Sunday of each week, except a licensed package liquor store shall be allowed to sell alcohol for off premises consumption from eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. No person other than a licensee or an employee of a licensee shall remain upon any licensed premises for any period of time longer than one-half (1/2) hour following the times specified in this section as the time when the sale, distribution, transfer or gift of alcoholic liquor must terminate. No person, including a licensee or any employee of a licensee, shall remain upon any licensed premises for any period of time longer than one (1) hour following the time specified in this section as the time when the sale, distribution, transfer or gift of alcoholic liquor must terminate. No licensee, employee or agent of the licensee shall permit any person to remain on the licensed premises beyond the closing hours specified in this section. Persons and premises having Class A or C licenses may remain open other than the times designated in this section but only for the sale of food, beverages or items other than alcoholic liquor.
