When satisfied that sufficient information is presented in the final plat and other supportive documents, the plan commission shall transmit the material to the village engineer, village attorney and others it deems necessary for a proper review. Within thirty (30) days from the date of final plat submittal, unless such time is extended by mutual consent, the plan commission shall determine if the final plat meets all applicable village requirements. If the plan commission finds that the final plat is not in accordance with the village requirements, it shall disapprove such plat and provide written notification to the board of trustees stating the reasons for such disapproval. If the plan commission determines that the final plat meets all applicable village requirements, it shall affix upon the final plat the certifying signature of its chairman and secretary, and shall submit the final plat and accompanying documents to the board of trustees. The plan commission may also recommend that the village board consider other provisions prior to final plat approval. (Ord. 610, 4-9-2001)
