The county has designated herd districts. These districts are created by authority of Idaho Code § 25-2401 and compliance with those requirements will be enforced by local authority. A map designating the established herd districts will be provided, stored, and kept available by the County Clerk. All uses not designated as herd districts will be open range areas. Movement of livestock on county roads or established routes will be permitted. It is recommended that the County Sheriff’s office be notified prior to movement of livestock on these routes to ensure safety and/or assistance.
