(A) It shall be the county’s policy to protect the public investment in local airports and the safety of air travelers by adopting airport area height limitations and safety restrictions, as recommended by the Federal Aviation Administration.
(B) There is one airport in the county: the Preston Municipal Airport. The county’s strategy for implementation of this policy will be to prevent any conflict with the operation of Preston’s Municipal Airport and assure the integrity of the airport by adopting, and enforcing the relevant portions of the Federal Aviation Administration regulations for “Objects Affecting Navigable Airspace”.
