§ 153.999 PENALTY.

   (A)   Violations of §§ 153.001 to 153.256 shall be a misdemeanor, punishable only by a fine in an amount not exceeding $1,000. Each day in which a violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.

   (B)   Any person violating the provisions of §§ 153.270 to 153.281 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by fine of not more than $300. Every person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of this chapter is committed, continued, or permitted to continue by any such person.
