This subchapter authorizes posting of standard placards to show the condition of the structure for continued occupancy after any natural or human-made disaster. This subchapter further authorizes the County Planning and Zoning Commission and designated representatives to post the appropriate placard at each entry point to a building or structure upon completion of a safety assessment. Once posted, these placards establish authorized occupancy of buildings and structures until the posting agency authorizes removal of placards.
