For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COMMISSION. The Historic Preservation Commission of the County of Franklin.
COUNTY. The County of Franklin.
HISTORIC PRESERVATION. The research, documentation, protection, restoration, and rehabilitation of buildings, structures, objects, districts, areas, and sites significant in the history, architecture, archaeology, or culture of this state, its communities, or the nation.
HISTORIC PROPERTY. Any building, structure, area, or site that is significant in the history, architecture, archeology, or culture of this community, state, or the nation.
