(A) All sworn personnel of the Emergency Management Agency may be designated as members of a mobile support team created by the Director of the State Emergency Management Agency in accordance with the IEMA Act.
(B) The leader of such local mobile support team shall be designated by the Director of Emergency Management. Any member of a mobile support team who is a county employee or officer while serving on call to duty by the Governor or the Director of the State Emergency Management Agency shall receive the compensation and have the powers, duties, rights and immunities incident to such employment or office. Any such member who is not a paid officer or employee of the county while so serving shall receive from the state reasonable compensation, as provided by law.
(C) Personnel who are paid employees or officers of the county, if called for training by the Director of the State Emergency Management Agency, shall receive for the time spent in such training the same rate of pay as is attached to the position held. Members who are not paid employees shall receive for such training such compensation as may be established by the County Board.
(D) The County Board may, from time to time, establish compensation rates for non-compensated personnel in response to emergencies. This will be done at the discretion of the County Board.
