The Commission shall have the duties to compile the eligibility list for the County Sheriff for purposes of hiring and promotion within the Department and shall also serve as the appeals board from any disciplinary action taken by the County Sheriff. The decision of the County Sheriff’s Department Commission on any appeal filed by a sworn member of the County Sheriff’s Department shall be final.
