§ 110.01  TRANSIENT MERCHANTS.
   (A)   Any hawker, peddler, itinerant merchant or transient vendor desiring to conduct business in any area of the county not within the corporate limits of a municipality which regulates such merchants must, prior to conducting business, register in a log kept by the County Clerk his or her name and the firm he or she represents.
   (B)   (1)   Merchant(s) subject herein, who sell his, her or their product door-to-door, may conduct business Monday through Friday during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
      (2)   Merchant(s) subject herein, who sell his, her or their product from a fixed location, may conduct business from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
   (C)   Pursuant to statute, no fee shall be collected for such registration.
   (D)   Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to change, alter or abrogate 720 ILCS 5/21-3 prohibiting criminal trespass.
