Whenever a period of extreme fire hazard exists, as determined by the Board Chairperson, a proclamation declaring all outside burning unlawful within the county during the time specified shall be issued. The Chairperson shall cause public notice of such proclamation to be given by publication in one or more newspapers having a general circulation within the county and shall take effect upon publication. The radio and television stations in the area will also be notified of the proclamation.
