All residences, mobile homes, offices and businesses in the county located outside the corporate limits of the City of Frankfort are hereby required to have visible on the structure or, if the structure is more than 50 feet from the edge of the roadway (private, county or state maintained) or from the mailbox, then posted at the entrance to the property, the numbered address of the road on which they are occupied as listed by the United States Postal Service. Said numbered address of each structure shall be least three inches high and at least one-half inch wide. The numbers must be affixed to the structure or to the mailbox or, in the absence of a mailbox, then on a post which is visible from the road and able to withstand the elements.
