§ 53.23 WATER SHORTAGE ALERT.
   (A)   Whenever the General Manager of the Frankfort Electric and Water Plant Board, the public purveyor of potable water in the county, finds that a condition exists where it will not be able to meet the expected needs of its customers, upon written certification thereof to the County Judge/Executive, the County Judge/Executive may publicly declare a “water shortage alert”.
   (B)   (1)   The County Judge/Executive shall continue to encourage voluntary water conservation measures defined under the advisory declaration, and further shall impose a ban on all non-essential (Class 3) water uses for the duration of the shortage until it is declared to have ended by resolution of the governing body.
      (2)   Declaration of these resolutions shall follow the guidelines in § 53.22 of this chapter.
