§ 111.15 LICENSE CERTIFICATE OR INSIGNIA; LOSS; ALTERATION OR REMOVAL.
   (A)   In case any licensee who has been furnished a license certificate or license insignia, in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter, shall lose the same, it shall be within the discretion of the Village Clerk to authorize the issuance of a duplicate certificate or insignia upon the making of an affidavit of loss by such person and the payment of a fee to be set by the Board of Trustees to the Village Clerk.
   (B)   (1)   No person shall add to, alter, deface, forge or counterfeit any license certificate or sticker or other insignia which has been or is being issued by the village.
      (2)   No person shall destroy, obliterate, take, remove or carry away without the consent of the owner any license certificate or sticker or other insignia which has been issued by the village, except that said certificate or said sticker or other insignia may be removed after the licensed business, occupation or activity has been discontinued or the licensed premises have been abandoned.
