(A) The owner of an animal afflicted with a contagious disease or an infectious disease shall not permit such animal to run at large, or to be exposed in any public place or on private property where a
person or other animal may be affected, nor shall such diseased animal be shipped or removed from the premises of the owner thereof except under the supervision of the Animal Control Officer.
(B) If directed by the Animal Control Officer, the owner shall cause to secure the disposition of any diseased animal and premises as to prevent the communication or spread of contagion or infection.
(C) The owner of a diseased animal shall secure the humane and safe disposition of the animal and shall immediately fully clean and sanitize all areas which were possible affected by the animal.
