(A) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to duly constituted peace officers while engaged in the discharge of their official duties.
(B) The provisions of this chapter as it relates to carrying a handgun shall not apply to a person who is a licensee under and whose weapon, activity and conduct is in conformance with the Firearm Concealed Cary Act, ILCS Ch. 430, Act 66, §§ 1 et seq., and Illinois law.
