If any term, part, provision, section, subdivision or paragraph of this ordinance, or of any code herein adopted, shall be held unconstitutional, invalid or ineffective, in whole or in part by any court of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall be deemed to invalidate only the sections, terms, provisions, subdivisions, paragraphs of parts thereof affected and it shall be presumed that this ordinance and codes would have been passed without such invalid portion; and that every other portion of this ordinance and codes shall be deemed valid and shall continue in full force and effect.
