Any tree, bush, shrub or hedge which overhangs any sidewalk, street or other public place in the Municipality in such a way as to interfere or create unsafe conditions with traffic or travel or light in such public place shall be trimmed by the owner of the abutting premises or of the premises on which such tree, bush, shrub or hedge grows, so that the obstruction shall cease.
Any tree or limb of a tree which has become likely to fall on or across any public place shall be removed by the owner of the premises on which such tree grows or stands. Refer to subsection 9-5-4B2 of this Chapter for permit requirements. (Ord. 96-32, 10-7-1996)
