A. Adoption And Incorporation By Reference Of Specific Chapters Of The Illinois Vehicle Code: Pursuant to 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/20-204 of the Illinois Vehicle Code, the Village hereby adopts and incorporates by reference all paragraphs and sections of the Illinois Vehicle Code 1 and subsequent amendments in whole. The section numbers used in the Illinois Vehicle Code shall be identical to those section numbers in this Code.
B. Penalty: Any violation of said provisions of the Illinois Vehicle Code shall hereafter be considered a violation of this section and each such violation shall subject the violator thereof to the penalty provisions provided in the Illinois Vehicle Code for violations which are deemed to be reportable to the Illinois Secretary of State pursuant to 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/6-204, and to the penalty provisions set forth in section 1-4-3-1 for violations which are not deemed to be reportable to the Illinois Secretary of State pursuant to 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/6-204. C. Applicability: The penalty provided by this section applies to the amendment of any section of this chapter adopted herein by reference whether or not such penalty is reenacted in the amendatory ordinance.
D. Reference To Sections: Reference to a section of this chapter shall be understood also to refer to and include the penalty section relating thereto unless otherwise expressly provided.
E. Revisions And Amendments: All sections of the Illinois Compiled Statutes made part of this Code shall include all revisions and amendments as previously and hereinafter passed from time to time by the Illinois General Assembly which became law as part of 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes.
F. State Snowmobile Laws Adopted: The following sections of the Snowmobile Registration and Safety Act of 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes are adopted and enacted as ordinances of the Village:
1. Article I, definitions; sections 40/1-2.01 through and including 40/1-2.15.
2. Article II, enforcement; sections 40/2-2, and 40/2-4.
3. Article IV, equipment; sections 40/4-1, 40/4-2, 40/4-3, 40/4-4.
4. Article V, control provisions; sections 40/5-1, 40/5-2, 40/5-3, 40/5-4, 40/5-5, 40/5-6. (Ord. 2017-14, 3-28-2017)
