7-4-6: WATER RATES:
   A.   Public Water Users Connected To The Fox Lake Water System (IL 0970200 and IL 0975780): Water rates for users connected to or in areas serviced by the Fox Lake water system shall be as follows:
      1.   Metered Consumer: For each user of water service that is individually metered there shall be charged a rate computed as follows: a fixed cost charge of fifty-five dollars and eleven cents ($55.11) per two (2) month period, plus a usage charge of four dollars and ten cents ($4.10) per one thousand (1,000) gallons per two (2) month period.
      2.   Non-Metered Consumer: For each user of water service that is not individually metered, there shall be charged a rate computed as follows: a fixed cost charge of fifty-five dollars and eleven cents ($55.11) per two (2) month period, plus a usage charge of four dollars and ten cents ($4.10) per one thousand (1,000) gallons based upon an assumed average usage of eight thousand (8,000) gallons per two (2) month period.
      3.   Multiple-Dwelling Single Metered Consumers: For multiple-dwelling unit developments that are not individually metered but have a single meter, there shall be charged a rate computed as follows: a fixed cost charge for each individual dwelling unit of fifty-five dollars and eleven cents ($55.11) per two (2) month period, plus a usage charge of four dollars and ten cents ($4.10) per one thousand (1,000) gallons.
   B.   Non-Metered Water Users: Whenever the Supervisor of Sewer and Water determines that a non-metered water user is consuming more than eight thousand (8,000) gallons in a two (2) month period, the Supervisor of Sewer and Water may require such non- metered water user to install metering devices on the building water supply to measure the volume of water consumed.
   C.   No Free Service: No free service of the system shall be furnished to any person, firm, organization or corporation, public or private. (Ord. 2021-30, 12-14-2021; Ord. 2022-27, 4-26-2022)
