A. If the owner of any impounded animal cannot be immediately located it shall be the duty of the authorized village official to turn the animal over to the county animal control department. The owner of any impounded animal that has been transferred to the county facility shall be liable for any and all fees incurred by the village. (Ord. 98-48, 8-3-1998)
B. Any unlicensed animal required by law to be licensed, or any animal which appears to be suffering from infectious or dangerous disease may not be released, but shall be taken to the county animal control facility. (Ord. 2013-34, 12-10-2013)
