A. Unlawful Sale Or Delivery: A person commits unlawful sale or delivery of alcoholic liquor if he or she sells, delivers or gives any alcoholic liquor to any person under the age as set forth in 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/6-16. (Ord. 79-30, 12-17-1979)
B. Unlawful Possession: A person commits unlawful possession of alcoholic liquor if he or she, while under the age set forth in 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/6-16, possesses or consumes, in the village, any alcoholic liquor. (Ord. 79-30, 12-17-1979; amd. 1986 Code)
C. Parental Supervision: The possession and dispensing, or consumption by a minor of alcoholic liquor in the performance of a religious service or ceremony, or the consumption by a minor under the direct supervision and approval of the parents or parent of such minor in the privacy of a home, is not prohibited by this section.
