A. No person shall sell, offer for sale, use or explode any fireworks in the Village, except the Board of Trustees may grant a permit for a public display of fireworks under such conditions as it may impose under the provisions of section 2 of the Fireworks Use Act. 1 (Ord. 95-26, 9-5-1995)
B. The sale of specifically permitted items, as set forth in section 1 of the Fireworks Use Act, 2 may be permitted at such locations within the Village limits and upon such conditions as the Village Board of Trustees may deem appropriate. The sale of said items shall be prohibited from July 5 to June 15 of each year. Sale of such items outside of buildings shall require the business license that is required for open air sales by subsection 3-1-6B of this Code.
C. The Village Fire Department shall examine the proposed site at which fireworks are to be sold and may impose any safety measures deemed appropriate prior to the issuance of the license required by this section. (Ord. 97-20, 6-16-1997)
