3-3-5: LICENSE ISSUANCE; TERM:
   A.   A license shall be purely a personal privilege good for the license period which shall expire on June 30 next following the date of issuance, unless sooner revoked, and shall not constitute property nor shall it be subject to attachment, garnishment or execution, nor shall it be alienable or transferable, voluntarily or involuntarily, or subject to being encumbered or hypothecated. (1975 Code § 22.14)
   B.   Every license issued by the Village Liquor Control Commissioner shall be valid for a period of one year from July 1 following, and shall be issued by the Village Liquor Control Commissioner, subject to the provisions of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois, 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes, and shall be subject to all laws, resolutions, and regulations now in force and in effect or which may hereinafter be enacted, adopted or approved relating to alcoholic liquors.    C.   A license for every location, place or premises licensed under the terms and by virtue of this chapter shall be framed and hung in plain view in a conspicuous place on the premises so licensed. (1975 Code § 22.17)
