§ 153.05 PROCEDURES FOR ADOPTION OF MASTER PLAN.
   (A)   Before preparing a plan the Planning Commission shall mail by first-class mail a notice, explaining that the Planning Commission intends to prepare a plan and requesting the recipient's cooperation and comment, to all of the following:
      (1)   The planning commission, or if there is no planning commission, the legislative body, of each township or other municipality contiguous to the village.
      (2)   The Clinton County Planning Commission.
      (3)   Each public utility company and railroad company owning or operating a public utility or railroad within the village, and any government entity, that registers its name and mailing address for this purpose with the Planning Commission.
   (B)   The notice to an entity under divisions (1) and (2) may request permission for the village to submit electronically any information required to be submitted to that entity under Sections 7b or 8 of Act No. 285 of Michigan Public Acts of 1931. If the entity to which the notice is sent grants this permission, information submitted to or by that entity under Section 7b or 8 may be submitted electronically. Otherwise, such information shall be submitted in writing by first-class mail or personal delivery.
