No person or company shall make or exhibit in this village any circus, menagerie, play game or theatrical exhibition, opera, concert, vocal or instrumental, or exhibit any natural or artificial curiosity or give any public entertainment or amusement of any kind, of whatever name or nature, to which admission is charged or received without having first obtained a license so to do as hereinafter provided.
