351.21 SPECIAL PARKING FOR FUNERAL HOMES.
   (a)   Funeral Memorial Service is defined as the day of the funeral in which the deceased will be transported from the funeral home for services at a church, temple, chapel, or mosque and/or transport of the deceased to the place of internment.
   (b)   A funeral home may, upon posting of appropriate signage, have designated the street frontage of the funeral home declared as a non-parking zone for a period not to exceed the funeral memorial service as defined. No vehicle is to be parked in any restricted zone such as fire hydrants, fire zones or other safety areas.
   (c)   This area shall be posted with easily identifiable, readable, portable signage to include the time required and is limited to two (2) hours prior to the beginning of the services and shall end thirty (30) minutes after the departure of the deceased from the funeral home.
   (d)   All temporary parking signage shall be removed upon the conclusion of the funeral. Failure to remove the signs subjects the temporary parking permit holder to a fine equal to the penalty under Section 351.99 for parking violations.
   (e)   Vehicles parked within this temporary no-parking zone may be subject to a citation and/or towed under Section 351.99 of this chapter.
