EDITOR'S NOTE: The Fostoria Municipal Court having territorial jurisdiction within the City and within Loudon and Jackson Townships in Seneca County, Washington Township in Hancock County, and Perry Township in Wood County, has been established under Ohio R.C. 1901.01 et seq. Ohio R.C. 1901.25 provides that the Municipal Court may provide by rule how jurors shall be chosen. Jurors' fees in any criminal case involving the violation of a City ordinance shall be paid out of the City Treasury. The Municipal Court, pursuant to Ohio R.C. 1901.26(A), may establish a schedule of fees and costs to be taxed in any action or proceeding, whether civil or criminal. Ohio R.C. 1901.31(F) provides that fines received for violation of Fostoria ordinances shall be paid into the City Treasury. Rule 13 of the Ohio Traffic Rules as promulgated by the Ohio Supreme Court provides that a court shall establish a traffic violations bureau and specifies certain restrictions as to the designated offenses and schedule of fines to be accepted as waiver payment in lieu of court appearance.
