(a) There is hereby created a Fostoria Airport Committee consisting of seven members for the purpose of assisting (i.e., making non-binding recommendations) to the City Administration in the management and operation of the Fostoria Metropolitan Airport. These members are not City employees and shall serve without compensation.
(b) The Mayor or the Safety-Service Director shall serve on the Committee and the Mayor shall appoint five (5) representatives with the consent of Council.
(c) The President of Council shall appoint one member of Council to serve on the Committee.
(d) The appointments by the Mayor shall be as follows: effective January 1, 2009, two members shall be appointed for two (2) years, and three (3) members shall be appointed for four (4) years. (Ord. 2008-102. Passed 11-5-08.)
