The Park and Recreation Board shall be composed of the following members:
(a) Three members shall be appointed by the Mayor whose terms shall be for a period of three years with the exception of the original appointment of one member whose term shall be four years so that the terms of these individuals will be staggered.
(b) One Council person shall be appointed by Council. The term shall correspond to terms of Council.
(c) The Mayor shall serve as chairperson of the Park and Recreation Board and shall provide clerical services through his/her office. The Safety-Service Director shall serve as vice-chairperson. The Secretary of the Board, shall be elected by vote from the board members.
(d) One member appointed by the local YMCA (yearly basis).
(e) Ex-officio members shall be the Recreation Director (if applicable), the Parks/Cemetery Maintenance Supervisor and the City Engineer.
