By virtue of Ohio R.C. 733.03, the office of Director of Public Safety shall be merged with the office of Director of Public Service, and the Office of Public Safety heretofore existing is abolished. The office created by the merging of the two Departments shall hereafter be administered by one officer who shall be known as the Director of Public Service and Safety. (1979 Code 33.01)
