The City of Fostoria, as an employer, establishes as its goal the employment of qualified members of all minorities, as defined by the Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance, through out all areas of City employment at levels which are at least the same as the percentage of minorities living within the City as shown by the most recent poll of the United States Census Bureau.
