§ 34.34 FIRE PROTECTION TERRITORY EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND.
   (A)   A need now exists for the re-establishment of the Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund for the Vernon Township Fire Protection Territory for all uses as set out in I.C. 36-8-19-8.5
   (B)   This Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund is subject to the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
   (C)   Vernon Township is the provider unit of the Vernon Township Fire Protection Territory. The other participating units are the Towns of Fortville and McCordsville, both in Hancock County. Vernon Township, as provider unit, is authorized to establish this Fund.
   (D)   There is established a Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund to be used to purchase fire protection equipment, including housing.
   (E)   The Town Council will adhere to the provisions of I.C. 36-8-19-8.5.
   (F)   There shall be a separate levy, on all taxable property. The property tax rate for the Fund may not exceed $0.0333 on each $100 of assessed valuation. This tax will be levied beginning with taxes due and payable in 2023 and thereafter, continuing until reduced or rescinded.
