The access management regulations of this chapter apply to all property according to the roadway classification of the abutting public streets and roads within the town as described below and as illustrated in the Thoroughfare Plan Map.
(A) Application of the access location and design standards of this chapter requires identification of the functional classification of the street on which access is requested and then applying the appropriate spacing requirements. The roads of the town are classified as follows and are further defined in the Thoroughfare Plan:
(1) Local;
(2) Collector;
(3) Secondary arterial;
(4) Primary arterial.
(B) All unclassified public streets are local streets principally providing access to single-family residences.
