§ 94.61 PARKWAY MAINTENANCE.
   (A)   The property owner whose property abuts a street or alley shall maintain and care for any parkway which adjoins or is a part of his or her property. The maintenance and care include, but not be limited to, the planting and regular moving of grass, trimming of bushes and trees and the maintenance of flower beds.
   (B)   Unless granted authority by the Town Manager or his or her designee, property owners must maintain any parkway that adjoins their property in the same state - e.g., grass, decorative stone - as existed in such parkway on the effective date of this subchapter. Property owners may not alter the adjoining parkway by paving, replacing sod with gravel, or otherwise, except as part of a permitted driveway or driveway apron project or upon written permission granted by the Town Manager or his or her designee. The Town Manager shall require such paving to utilize the materials and specifications for paving as provided by the town’s street and sidewalk standards.
