5-3-10: RULES AND REGULATIONS:
   A.   Authority: The City Council may make such other rules and regulations concerning the depositing, handling, removing, and disposition of garbage as they may from time to time deem fit and proper. (Ord. 159, 1-7-1943; amd. 1999 Code)
   B.   Rifling Of Garbage Cans: It shall be unlawful for any person to rifle garbage cans or other containers for bottles or boxes or other material, and it shall be unlawful for any person to purchase such material if offered to him. (Ord. 159, 1-7-1943)
   C.   Branches And Brush: The old garbage truck will go out the first week of the month year round to collect bagged garbage that will include grass clippings, etc. In order to qualify for garbage pickup, branches and brush shall not exceed one and one-half inches (11/2") in diameter, shall be bundled not to exceed four feet (4') in length and two feet (2') in diameter, and each parcel shall not exceed seventy (70) pounds.
   D.   Unapproved Items; Ash: Items not allowed in containers include carpet, wood, branches and tree limbs, rocks and ash. Ash must be hauled to the transfer station by the property owner. (Ord. 98-01, 5-26-1998, eff. 6-26-1998)
   E.   Unauthorized Disposal: It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly dump, dispose or otherwise transfer garbage in their possession into a City garbage container located on the property of another owner, tenant or government entity without their expressed permission. Violations of this chapter are designated as Municipal infractions as specified in title 1, chapter 4 of this Code. (Ord. 2018-05, 11-19-2018, eff. 1-1-2019)
