5-3-7: CONTAINERS:
   A.   Supply; Classifications: It shall be optional with the City Council whether the City shall own and supply to said collectors containers for holding garbage used in the collection and removal of garbage, or require the same to be furnished by said collectors. All containers shall be of such style, size and description as the City Council may from time to time require, and shall bear in prominent letters the words "City of Forsyth" and shall be of the following volume classifications:
      1.   Ninety five (95) gallon roll-out refuse container;
      2.   Three hundred (300) gallon refuse container.
   B.   Sharing: Sharing of containers is limited to three (3) users; requests must be made in writing at City Hall; each user will be assessed separately.
   C.   Failure To Comply: Recipients of garbage service failing to comply with proper directives from the Public Works Director or the City Council as to the placement of garbage cans, rules and restrictions governing placement of restricted materials in containers, open lids and overflow of garbage from containers may be denied service until such time as they comply.
   D.   Placement On Sidewalks: Properties serviced by curbside pickup shall not have containers on sidewalks, except for day of scheduled pickup. (Ord. 98-01, 5-26-1998, eff. 6-26-1998)
