4-1-3: LICENSE FEE:
   A.   Required; Enumerated: Unless specifically exempted by state law, all persons and/or entities doing business or engaged in commerce in the city, whether residents or nonresidents, are required to pay city license fees. Residents are required to pay an annual license fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). Any person and/or entity with five (5) or more available rental units will be considered a business.
      1.   Residents or nonresidents, considered to be itinerant vendors, that intend to operate a temporary business for the sale of goods must obtain a temporary business license and pay a fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00). A temporary business is defined as one in which goods are sold on not more than six (6) calendar days each year.
      2.   Nonprofit organizations, service clubs, public service organizations are exempt from paying the license fee. (Ord. 2015-09, 12-21-2015)
   B.   Two Or More Businesses:
      1.   Separate Fee: In any case where any persons conduct, operate, transact, engage in or carry on two (2) or more different lines of business, industry, trade, pursuit, profession or vocation, under the same roof, they shall pay only one license.
   C.   Distribution: It is hereby declared that all fees received by the city for licenses under this chapter are to be allocated to the general fund for administration and regulation of health and public safety for distribution by city council action. (Ord. 2000-04, 11-13-2000, eff. 12-13-2000)
