10-1-9: CONNECTION WITH EXISTING SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT:
   A.   Hookup Fee: Whenever a water and/or sewer main or service line is connected to an existing special improvement district, the indebtedness of which has not been paid, users benefiting thereby shall be charged a hookup fee commensurate with the pro rata share of the addition or extension based upon the remaining principal balance of the special improvement district indebtedness to which such extension or addition is made.
   B.   Permit Required: No hookup shall be made to any existing main until the necessary permit for such hookup or extension of main has been received by the applicant, executed by the City Clerk-Treasurer or other official of the City, indicating that all fees required therefor have been paid, which shall include any fee assessed pursuant to this Section for connection to or extension of a special improvement district, the indebtedness of which has not been fully retired.
   C.   Application Of Proceeds: The City Clerk-Treasurer shall apply the proceeds of such special improvement district pro rata payments for extensions or additions to reduction of the indebtedness of the special improvement district so extended. (1981)
