A. Vehicles: No motor vehicle of any type may be operated over, upon or along the flood control dike constructed on the northerly environs of the City for flood protection, unless such vehicle is an "authorized vehicle", as defined in this subsection. An "authorized vehicle" is a vehicle owned by the City, State or the United States while operated for the purpose of and in the maintenance of the said dike. Violation of this provision is a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, subjects the violator to the penalty provisions provided in Section 1-4-1 of this Code.
B. Animals And Fowl: The owners or persons having custody and control over any commonly domesticated hoofed animals or domesticated fowl are prohibited from permitting such animals upon the dike or the approaches to the dike and are further prohibited from permitting such animals to cross over or along said dike. The presence of such animals upon the dike or on the approaches to the dike constitutes the owner, whether in actual physical control of such animals or not, or the person having the care, custody and control of such animals, guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, subjects the violator to the penalty provisions provided in Section 1-4-1 of this Code.
